Visit our Farm

Café Corazon farm visits are available depending on time of year. Our farm is in San Andres, Zona de Los Santos, Tarrazu, which is approximately 5.5 hours from our coffee shop and roaster in Los Pargos. Depending on your group size, we can make housing arrangements with local families or at a local hotel. In the morning, you will visit the farm and learn about agroforestry, biodynamic farming methods, and see first-hand the detrimental environmental impact of big-business coffee in Tarrazu.

In the afternoon, you will also visit our local beneficio (mill), where we process our coffee after harvest, and learn about sun-drying, natural processing, and fermentation of the coffee to prepare for packing and roasting.
