Plant: The Catuai varietal is grown at the highest portions of our mountainside – up to 1950 meters above sea level. Catuai is another cultivar that brought Tarrazu fame in the 80s, carrying aromas and flavor notes of varied Costa Rican tropical fruits, and sugar cane.
Washed Process: This means the coffee fruit’s skin is removed and the pulp is washed off the seed prior to the fermentation process. This is the most common form of traditional processing.
Light Roast: Our recommended roast brings out this coffee’s most aroma and acidity, with the least body and bitterness.
